Mortimer Snerd was the Country Bumpkin friend of Charlie McCarthy.
His original hat from the 1930s was falling apart and these famous puppets were scheduled to be displayed in the Smithsonian. We had to reproduce this straw hat precisely. I think we did very well.
We also had to make an all new Tuxedo outfit for Charlie.
